Guendouzi, the young French midfielder who has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain this summer, has made his debut for Marseille on Saturday night in their 1-0 win over Stade Rennais.

The 21-year-old was named on the bench by manager Lucien Favre but he came off the bench in the second half and played the full 90 minutes. He was involved in a number of key moments during the match, including a shot that hit the post and a header that almost put Marseille ahead.

Despite not scoring or creating any goals himself, Guendouzi's performance was praised by his teammates and coach. He was described as "aggressive" and "scoring chances" while also showing "a lot of passion".
